Cancellation Policy
Please be aware that I require 24 hours notice for cancellation if you have a Tuesday appointment please let me know by 10:00 on the Saturday prior to your appointment this is so I have enough time to fill the slot as i am closed Sunday and Monday ,If this is an issue then changing the day of your appointment can be arranged.
if you have to cancel your appointment and leave a voicemail please send a text as well as I am dealing with many calls and enquiry’s during the week and a text is easier to be picked up.
If I am not made aware of your cancellation in this time period you will still be charged for the full price of the groom that you were booked in for these charges are at my discretion No further appointments will be sent until the fee is paid.
If the fee is not paid then this is the customers decision and you will be removed from my books .
please be aware that whilst I use some Discretion this is my living and pays my bills and puts food on the table so please respect my time.
Arrival and Collection
Prior to your appointment it is asked that your dog is walked beforehand while I do give the dogs a break this can help reduce any accidents in the salon
On arrival you may ring me to let me know you are here with your dog and wait until you are asked to come in your dog’s appointment should be treated as any other appointment where you should attend on time if you are going to be late please ring me as soon as possible as I may have to reschedule your appointment due to other peoples dog’s being booked in this will be classed as A late cancellation and a fee to which the same charges apply as in the above section cancellation policy
Late Pickup Charges
If you are late collecting you will be charged a retaining fee of £10 and £5 for every half and hour over the time as I am unnecessarily being held responsible for your Dog I am a 121 groomer so I don’t cage dogs in my salon.
This also impacts on my time when other dog’s are due in and if it’s out of my working hours it goes into my free time.
Walk in’s
Please be aware that I can take walk in’s but this will be subject to how busy I currently am and you may still need to book an appointment.
Matting and behaviour
Please be aware that if your dog has mats, I will put the dog’s welfare first under the animal welfare act 2006. This will however be discussed with you on arrival with your dog as to what I am able to achieve as any matting will need to be removed.
shaving any matting off or bringing a dog to me that has gone to long between grooms or not properly maintained between grooms for example not brushed will require my extra time or wear and tear on my tools this will be at an extra cost to the owner as this is outside of the grooming process this will be discussed with the owner on arrival, if there are any other issues such as bad behaviour aggression then the owner will be called to collect there dog and the grooming fee will still apply
Any health or behaviour issues that have not been disclosed to me at any time even as a return customer and the dog is sent home the cost of the groom will still apply
